Welcome to Word Central Radio!
Hi, I’m Victor J. McCoy, president and general manager of Word Central Radio. Our mission is to “make disciples of all ethnic groups” by teaching the truths of scripture – and living out those truths in our daily lives.
According to Psalm 1, true fulfillment comes to those who diligently reflect on God’s statutes at all times. This reflection actively engages with the Scriptures, seeking to comprehend, accept, and live by its objective truths by the power of the Spirit.
May the teachings and sermons broadcasted on this station be a source of abundant blessing to you as we proclaim His Word daily, Keeping the Word of God central to Daily Life.

“The law of the LORD is perfect, refreshing the soul. The statues of the LORD are trustworthy, making wise the simple. The precepts of the LORD are right, giving joy to the heart. The commands of the LORD are radiant, giving light to the heart. The commands of the LORD are radiant, giving light to the eyes. The fear of the LORD is pure, enduring forever. The ordinances of the LORD are sure, and all of them are righteous/ They are more precious than gold than much pure gold; they are sweeter than honey than honey from the honeycomb. By them, your servant is warned; in keeping them, there is great reward.” Psalm 19:7-11
Knowing God through His Son and His Word
If we are to know anything about God at all, it is absolutely necessary that he reveal himself to us. There is a revelation of God that comes through nature (Rom 1:9). The natural creation reveals God because he chose to have himself revealed this way. God chose how he wants to reveal himself and what he wants to reveal through natural revelation to us. Any idea of who God is outside of how he has revealed himself is an idol.
There is a knowledge of God that comes in salvation, this idea is more obvious because of the new creation and relationship that begins at that moment. Jesus says, “No man knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and any one to whom the Son chooses to reveal him” (Matt. 11:27). Jesus is telling us that knowledge of God does not come by human effort. It does not come by way of human wisdom or some monastic pursuit. If we are to interpret natural revelation rightly we need the Scriptures. We need to understand the Scriptures. The Bible alone tells us how to understand the testimony about God from nature. We are dependent on God’s active, clear, and powerful communication to us in Scripture for our true knowledge of God and his will for us.
Committed to Proclaiming The Truth of God’s Word
Word Central Radio is committed to communicating the rightly divided Word of truth being taught by men and women of God. Our mission is to bring to you men and women of God that have proven to be expository bible teachers that know how to handle the word of God in humility and reverence.
We hope to use this platform to address all areas of life that the Word of God has spoken on in his word. We know the sanctifying Word of God will produce godly behavior in the transformed life of the follower of Jesus Christ. Therefore, we will present through the programs and daily Bible readings the Scriptures.
Join us as we grow in our knowledge of God and His will for our life.
The Word Transforms
Romans 12:2 “And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.” There is no doubt that the Word of God will help us understand who God is, what He requires of us, and how we ought to live in light of what we know about Him. Yet we struggle with being conformed as we are being transformed. The only way to be victorious in that batter is to develop a disciplined mind concerning studying and applying God’s word to everyday life. We can depend on the Holy Spirit to help us study and apply the truth.
The Word Guides
Psalm 119:105 – “Your word is a lamp to my feet And a light to my path” God gives us in His Word all that we need to know and all that matters. The Scriptures are the light and, when accurately interpreted, provide all that we need to live a godly life by the grace and power of God. When a lamp is turned on in a dark room you begin to see things clearer. You see where you want to go and the best path for getting there.
