Word Central Radio – Listen Now

Welcome to WBCP Radio!

Hi, I’m Victor J. McCoy, president and general manager of WBCP-DP. I am excited about this opportunity to broadcast sound bible teaching worldwide daily, providing you with a consistent source of spiritually nourishing truth.

According to Psalm 1:1 -2, “Blessed is the man (or woman) who walks (lives by) not in the counsel of the wicked, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of scoffers: but his delight is in the law of the LORD, and on His law meditates day and night. He is like a tree planted by streams of water that yields its fruit in its season, and its leaf does not wither. In all that he does, he proposers.”

The word of God is the primary thing the blessed man meditates on and thinks about as he considers how to apply it to every area of his life. We hope that as you listen to WBCP, you will hear a sermon, scripture reading, or devotional that contributes to your meditation on the word of God—not just to hear it but to understand and do it.

I pray that God would use this broadcast to bless His people worldwide who seek to hear the truth of scripture being taught and for Him to be glorified daily.

The Word Transforms

Romans 12:2 “And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.” There is no doubt that the Word of God will help us understand who God is, what He requires of us, and how we ought to live in light of what we know about Him. Yet we struggle with being conformed as we are being transformed. The only way to be victorious in that batter is to develop a disciplined mind concerning studying and applying God’s word to everyday life. We can depend on the Holy Spirit to help us study and apply the truth.

The Word Guides

Psalm 119:105 – “Your word is a lamp to my feet And a light to my path” God gives us in His Word all that we need to know and all that matters. The Scriptures are the light and, when accurately interpreted, provide all that we need to live a godly life by the grace and power of God. When a lamp is turned on in a dark room you begin to see things clearer. You see where you want to go and the best path for getting there.
